Welcome to our "New Look" Newsletter.
Send us a comment if it works for you, these take a long time and I'd like to know if I'm getting it right (or not).

Every time you Spend over $30.00  you will receive a
Chance to WIN $5000
(there are 4 draws this year)

This month we are in Seasonal Change. The heat of Summer is (finally) cooling down and the coolness of Autumn is about to brush our skin. So what should you be doing in the garden .....

In This Issue:

Rip out the Summer Veges .....

Turn the soil  over and enrich it with all the organic goodies - Poultry Manure, Blood and Bone, Cow Manure, Compost,  - oh what a cocktail !
A few tips - Avoid Blood and Bone if your dog likes to eat it, its really bad for their breath.  It can also attract rats and mice and if they are about they will eat your vegies too.
Second if you make the soil incredibly rich you should wait a couple of weeks to let it settle down because if it is too rich it will burn the roots of your seedlings.

Ready to Go - Cow & Compost Mix

If you don't have the time to pre-prepare your soil,
use our Cow & Compost mix.
Its 100% Organic and already
enriched with Cow Manure and the best part is -
you can plant your vegies straight into it.

The bags are 30ltr - 1x bag is $8.00 2 for $15 or
4r for $28.00 Save $4.00 but if you
Pick Up you pay only $25.00 for 4 bags !!!!

Black & White Art Exhibition

The difference with our Black and White Exhibition is that the artists were allowed to use about 20% of another colour.
The exhibition will be hanging until the end of Easter. You can make a day out by having lunch at the new Pepe's Cafe opposite us on the Pavillion (Coffee is Good) or the old faithful KB Thai.
Art can be put on Lay-by.

Well if you can't make it in visit our web site www.creativecourtyards.com.au and view the artworks in the Art Gallery.

GARDEN TIP

Climbers -  they always grow towards the sun so if you are planting its not always the case to plant it exactly where you want the cover if the sun is further down the fence.  Sometimes you have to plant them a little way down the east of the fence so they will follow the direction of the sun.  Most climbers grow quickly to the top of the fence and then bush and trail their way down eg Orange Trumber Vine, Potato vine, Wonga Wonga vine or Pandorea.  The best climber for cover is the Star Jasmine.  Is stays thick to the bottom and can be treated like a hedge for pruning.  Their perfumed flowers are out now they can tolerate full sun or shady spots and are pretty hardy too.

Top up your Mulch now the hot weather is coming but before you do throw down some fertiliser to keep the plants healthy until Autumn.

See you soon
